The Creative Start…

I am producing a few tracks for Jessica Bendinger and Meridith Meyer this week, with lead vocals being provided by Mycale Guyton. Meridith and Jessica arrive at my studio with only an acoustic guitar and voice as the foundation of the song to be worked on. We talk for a bit before moving steadily into making their song a full-blown track. Ideas are unobstructed and flow freely. I begin by making a few arrangement changes, build the groove and then we start producing on-the-spot parts. This is a truly creative endeavor.
