Cinematic Soundscapes

“Cinematic Soundscapes-Aurora” marketed by Imperitiva Records and distributed by Universal was released last month. The music I wrote for this project was always conceived with a passion for reaching outside conventional sonic boundaries, sometimes ambient, sometimes powerful.

There’s a fine line in whether you’re being melodic or ambient in the way you perceive sound. The priority for this project is the fusion with film music, whether it’s playing a supportive minimalist role, or driving the visuals.

There is an incredible amount of sonic depth in these pieces, which brings its own set of challenges, you have to have clarity, and everything has to be focused at the same time developing you in great amounts of distance between the instruments.

One of the great aspects of this record was experimenting with no rules, and thereby limitless potential.
