Killers is due out for wide release on June 4. Yet another great score by composer Rolfe Kent. Killers stars Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher as a married couple who get targeted for a multi-million dollar hit because he (Ashton K) is a super assassin. This disrupts their marital bliss and sets them on the run for their lives.

We recorded the Seattle Symphony for this project. This is the first film that I have mixed in my new studio in Hollywood! We had three rigs going non-stop. It was a blast having great music and talented people there each day. There are some great sequences that go to show how much the score can contribute to a film. My favorite is a car chase that Rolfe scored as a bull fight. It adds humor, pizzazz and a unique tone that I haven’t encountered on any of my other projects recently. Rather than choosing the obvious, the music really stands out on its own, completely giving Killers a deeper layer. I hope you notice and enjoy while watching.
