One inspiring morning, I sit down to write an “Ambient Texture” track. As my creative process is often undetermined and not knowing where it will lead – I stumbled across the inspiration to create a lilting and somber emotive piece. Submitting a draft to Yoav Goren, I was humbled by his very complimentary initial response. As the week carried on, Yoav continued to request a longer and more grand-in-scope version. As I rounded the 7th revision of this piece he offered me a chance to have it performed live at the Broad Theater in Santa Monica with 100+ musicians. My composition ended up opening his sold-out concert “Trailer Music Live”. Truly an honor…
